  • Mom found this tooth on a northern Washington Beach

Hi! I was hoping someone could ID this tooth my mother found in Washington state, on a beach. I asked her to take a couple of pictures . Scale is a little hard to see but I would say it's about the size of a silver dollar. Thank you!

      I'm guessing Deer.

We really need to see the crown of the tooth more than the roots. There are some different folds in the exposed enamel that can help ID the species.

Just based on location, I'd guess seal or sea lion.

Size of a silver dollar!!!! Big ole what ever.
Need crown pics to get a better perspective.
But place an item in pic for scale.
            Very recent to be sure.
It is a "Rock" when it's on the ground.
It is a "Specimen" when picked up and taken home.
