            Fossil snail, or " Gastropod ". You would have to find a fossil reference book for your area to narrow down the exact species, genus if you wanted to know. There's so many different varieties, all based on the size, number of coils, geologic period, etc. If your in a fossil bearing area, look out for Trilobites, they seem to be the collectors choice of fossils.
