ID:	386062 Fossil or strange rock? Found in a Tenn creek, same one as previous post. Looks like a stack of wood or bones when holding it...any thoughts appreciated.

That without a doubt is the weirdest thing I've seen in the geological world. Other than natural, I have no clue.

My thoughts exactly, wasn't leaving that one behind.

I think some fissure ruptured deep in that creek, and let dinosaur poop out to go with that lil’ carnivorous round-mouthed-sharp-toothed monster you found earlier. Can’t decide if want to know creek location to avoid or go see what dreams-never-dreamt could find!

LOL, that post I made was off the top of my head to add to a laughable post.

That looks like the bottom ook from Pleistocene/Miocene times that over time is now limerocky.... Fossil or not (could be large invertebrate fossil clump..).... The inside is much harder than the outside and is like chert is it not?....It looks exactly like the rocks of ook/limerock that the paleo ones in my area checked for suitability for knapping/toolmaking. There are several outside "knobs" that look to me like they were knocked off. I guess the material was a bit chalky even they when they checked it...if they did lol. Call me crazy boom woi lol.

It does have a chert like feel to it but seems like the same hardness inside and out to me. I also think it's had some crude work done to it, possibly even had some grinding done to a couple of the ends...or it's some type of use polishing??? My amateur opinions...
