  • A different find at a camp site

    I found this some time ago at a known campsite that has produced quite a few artifacts over the years. Always wondered if it was brought there by a Native American that found it or if it was just a coincidence. Doesn't show any signs of being attached in any way but I always wondered if it was intended to be worn as a pendant or something. Thought maybe someone here could guess how old it could be. Pretty sure a bear tooth of some kind. Click image for larger version

    I think you're correct in assuming bear.
    It may have been a found item and brought back to camp.
    If no others were found this may be a likely scenario.
    It is a "Rock" when it's on the ground.
    It is a "Specimen" when picked up and taken home.
