Anyway the triassic was the second purple layer down in New mexico.This layer desnt appear evrywhere.Just special little godspots..

how Deep?...Bout as deep as the Sulpher River which reaches the Cretaceous period..

There are lots of old timers collectors in the area that I can talk to. I will see what they say.

No there is no obsidian that I know of, but there have been obsidian artifacxts found in area, not many, material came out of Mexico.
