  • Fossil tooth?

    We found what seems to be a fossilized molar in a canyon in southern ca. Please help us positively ID it. Thank you

    Could we have some dimensions please? It helps if you put something in your pictures for scale. A ruler, or an easily recognisable coin.

      Yay, a tooth! Pain will know when you post size/scale (but prob’ly will not immediately offer answer to allow others’ curiosity drive them nuts and then to books!)
