  • Fossil?

Central KY feeder creek, just found today. Only the 2nd fossil I've picked up hunting but looked interesting enough. Any help is much appreciated!

Very very cool! Nice video!. But you wiggling treasure round hand, and you must be standing airport b/c couldn’t hear pleasant-sounding explanation-narration!

It is very intriguing, tho; looks like conglomerate several things (remember Ray Bradbury’s The Jar, with unknown mass inside that everyone saw differently?… so everybody in village came and just sat and looked at it every evening…)

Nevermind. If you just take coupla stills, I will try figure out…

Cool piece. Could it be a golf tee Mr. Slate used on an outing with Fred?

I tried to post this during time forum was down, then I forgot. I looked this publication:

and found Plates 7C (sideways pic) and 14A of trace fossils Asterosoma and Conostichus kinda mixed together:

        Book says:
        “Plate 7
C). Conostichus with an "Asterosoma" component was collected from location 2. Elongate oval structure can be seen branching from the apical disc area.* Scale at bottom in centimeters.
        Plate 14
A). Asterosoma sp. was found at location 10, along with many Conostichus specimens.* “

But, maybe concretion some kind, now with a hollow place where its fossil (or whatever) core fell away:
