Found this Megalodon back in 61 while fishing in the Edista river when I was stationed in N. Charleston. Was the first tooth I ever found. It perked my interest and everywhere I was stationed I checked out the rivers and streams, The cape in FL, diego, LA, VA. Even had a chance to dig the bone yard in FL. Found about 20 species and bought some Morocco teeth at the Maconb fossil show in IL.. Don't find em in IA. so haven't added any to collection since. Hobby 19th I guess.

Excellent example, when I lived in Florida I looked for them on Venice Beach. I found many small ones. The biggest I ever found was around 1 1/2 to 1 3/4. I met a guy there that told me he would go out and dive 100 yards from the shore and find them all the time. He showed me a few good sized teeth, plus other fossils/ bone he found that particular day.🐜 🎤 SW Georgia
