  • What kind of tooth is this?

    Found two days ago on Galveston TX beach. I know it’s a tooth, just not exact kind. It had just washed up when I found it. I know it’s a fossil, just not what it came from. Thanks!

    See how hollow inside? ….that distinguishing characteristic …..
    (If only could remember what distinguishes!…… I will look books.)

    Maybe Mondo show up; has tooth-encyclopedic brain……
    (It does look like fossilized claw—— very, very cool, very, very wonderful!)

        Could be a fossil, but Google stone crab claw.
        Hong Kong, but from Indiana/Florida

            If a crab claw, that thing went extinct maybe millions of years ago. K
