My co workers friend found this in North East Texas along the Red River and has asked me for help identifying it. Does anyone have any thoughts, ideas, or knowledge of what pre historic giant this belonged to??

The Victorians made the mistake of lining all the horse fossils up by size, smallest on the left through to modern horses on the right, and assumed horse evolution also equalled a progressive increase in size. Unfortunately not but it's an image you see repeated. The path to the modern horse goes up and down, as does the modern horse.
