This came out of a peat marsh that was being excavated to improve the river bank area, on a farm that I normally search on the hills surrounding the river valley. But the opportunity to explore excavated soil is always a draw :0)
The blade is extremely thin and straight, with a nice flat bulb.
As to usage I have no idea, it is almost scalpel like in its cutting edges and obviously preserved by the peaty soil (no ploughing).
