A couple of early Neolithic flint scraping tools maybe about 7,000 years old. Turned up in the spoil heap of a bagders hole only about 40cm appart! These were found on a site I have visited many times so there is clearly a lot more buried material there. Since I can't dig there myself- I'm happy for burrowing animals to do the work for me!
The flint knapping workmanship is of nice quality- very pleased with these finds. As usual they will be reported to the UK Portable Antiquities Scheme.
