        Not a point in a projectile sense, but certainly a small tool made as such. Neolithic sites often have these small teardrop-shaped items which exhibit limited secondary working. Sometimes they have one, or a pair, of cutting edges and sometimes not. They rarely exhibit significant use wear, so we generally assign them as 'expedient tools'... quickly made from a flake, lazily finished, and presumed to be for some immediate need that may have been related to butchery of small game, hide preparation, or whatever.
        I keep six honest serving-men (they taught me all I knew); Their names are What and Why and When and How and Where and Who.
