      Yep, Tom's correct. It's styled after a Luba (Baluba) spirit mask, like this one.

      The Luba people hail from what is now the Democratic Republic of Congo. Their traditional masks are one of the most common finds on African markets where pieces are sold to tourists and collectors. Yours looks like a tourist piece and, although perhaps authentically made, it likely wasn't made by the Luba people nor for ceremonial use. Could be anywhere between the mid 1900s through to modern.
