  • Help ID eastern NC lithic

My buddy said this came from a neighboring farm.  I have never seen lithic material like this here in eastern NC.  I have no idea what it is.  Any ideas please?

Hello Bloody Fourth, I think am seeing local Chert.
There are a lot of step fractures all over the point so this Chert was pretty hard to knapp. However, it worries me that I have never seen Chert with black inclusions before.
Even though I can't identify the black inclusions, I am still pretty sure the point was made from a local variety of Coastal Plains Chert (from the NC coastal Plain) especially since Beaufort County in on the North Carolina Coastal Plain.
