So far I've been concerned with learning period and point types but its time for me to learn material types. I could ask you ( as im going to now) but feel free to let me know your favorite resource.
The first 3 pictures are of a material I find a lot of here in NW TN. The "rectangular flake" is a neat piece in that it shows the subtle striped colors well (excuse the plow marks),they did work about 1.5" of one side (see pic 3) and also shows some cortex .
The last 3 pictures are of a beautiful material I have only found a single piece of, would love to find a piece unbroken from it. Thanks for the ID help!
