    Wish I knew. Except that your picture looks a bit overexposed & mine underexposed, it seems to be the same stuff as this one. Also from central Kentucky. There's more blue in it than the picture shows.

      Waterglass, have me stumped on that one, maybe a quartzite of some type? Maybe Pulaski chert? Otherwise you could just say gray nodular chert...

      Amatuer, my best guess would be Hornstone or something in that family, looks like it has a nice thick patination that may be hiding some blue under there? Just a guess.
