  • Iron stained burlington?

    I found this today in an area where it was really out of place. No other lithic like it anywhere in the area? What is it. The only other area I find anything similar is a ways away, not real far but a distance. Its a little bigger than a golfball. Click image for larger version

    Baba - don't know what the lithic is but that staining sure makes it a pretty rusty red color. Really nice clear pics. ...Chuck

            It looks a lot like Liston creek chert. from middle of Indiana.
