Thought I'd add a couple more Bayport examples, that are interesting in a couple ways. First, the pictures show a medium grade specimen of Bayport Chert as well as a quite high grade specimen (that looks to be made from the center portion of a very solid Bayport Chert nodule). Second, both specimens appear to be corner hafted bifaces used as knives (not like corner tang western knives, but there may be similarities). Both are from Cohoctah Township, Livingston County, Michigan. The hafting portion is marked on both examples in the second photo, but only the lighter colored example has a ground/polished hafting area.
