          Man i love those Florida points!! Gotta make it down there one day. I hear u can't collect artifacts on the river down there anymore? If so bummer.

                  Great points and materials. Some real heartbreakers in there to. That Florida stuff is some of the best. I find a few point types around here in S.C. that are mainly found in the Florida area. I still hold out hope that a nice coral point made it up this way. Here is a picture of some material that's not from this area. Not sure where it's from or what it is. Good hunting

                      Shartis your one on the left looks like a blue baybottom chert and the light one is what we call rice-grain chert, a form of fossiliferous chert.

                          wow tom you've been lucky, they are all fine, wonder have you ever soaked your finds in water  for a few hours and see how much colors brighten, i've found them wet and put'm in my pocket look at them 10 mins. later and they almost look like a diffrent point, i have a hernando thats grey i can soak it and you can almost see though it, looks almost like beer bottle glass,, anyone ever try this,  thanks ts

                            Shartis what is the name of the last item in your pictures? And TS I havent tried the water thing but from time to time I do use mineral oil to soak or wipe on a smooth textured stone item. Cant use it on quartzite or any type like that or it will ruin it.
