ID:	387615 There are at least two distinct types of agatized coral in FL that I know of. The one like Ron just posted with visible polyps, some have large and some smaller. There is another type of coral that we call Swirly and you don't see the polyps. Depending on the "cut" of the stone, polyp types can look like columns or polyps

              Reviewing old posts, making late responses. From when first saw word “agatized” until today, read it as “agitized”, and thought colloquialism for coral being agitated by fossilization process. 😄🤪 Now know y’all takin’ ‘bout fossilization creating agate!!
