Bloodstone

I looked back through this section and did not see this topic. Bloodstone is classified as a Jasper or Calcedony variety of quartz. This is a piece that a friend bought to knap and was flawed so he gave it to me to make polished rocks out of.

Hi Johnny.That looks to be a good sized chunk of a real pretty lithic. I hope you show us some pictures of the stones after you've finished with this parent material.

I will, not this but a drum of cold cream jar quartz coming out of tumbler next Wednesday and I will post that also
