  • Brazilian Agate is rather colorful

    When the weather warms I will heat-treat and cut preforms before knapping this agate.

          I thought the same thing point hound.....that one pic does look like a solar eclipse.....it would be awesome to see a point made from too to bottom capturing all colors

          Hey Bret, I thought the white with orange and blue looked like Montana Agate but the dealer called it Brazilian. I did purchase some Montana Agate too.

        I will say it again HOT DA****M good looking rock , i really like the piece with the red dendrites.
        That dealer had some nice pieces good on you snapping them up .

            Those are some beautiful rocks! Can't wait to see them worked.

            Those photos put me in mind of the " fabulous new mexico thunder eggs" thread. I think it dissapeared along with a bunch more from the " the best of the best". Very unfortunate because there was some beautiful rocks in that one.

                Hey ron....beautiful material.....cant wait to see your creations using this material.....as pointhound stated....that one piece looks like a solar eclipse
                ....not sure of size of that piece.....but would be cool if you knapped something from it using all colors within that piece....anyway those other pieces are awesome and will turn out to be fantastic art
