Material for White Bison

Pam, the picture did not turn out great here is some Quartsite (some call it sugar quartz)from my area. I do not think it is Windy Ridge Quartsite but still some nice material.

Thanks, Chase.  Pretty cool how the material appears to have kind of a , "rough", texture.  Have you found any points made from quartzite?  Maybe you have shown some and I don't remember them.  Lotta good stuff to see on this forum!

I have found several point and tools. Here is one cute little guy.

Ahhh...and I do remember seeing this one.  Cute little guy indeed!  It often surprises me how the Native Americans knapped that material and it stayed in tact!
