  • help with material ID

Found this in a pile with other lithic material. Someone obviously cut this with a saw. Any idea what kind of stone this is and location of origin? Found in Maryland near the Potomac Rover. It has a grey green color. Thanks in advance

Test it with acid to see if it's dolomite, if not, metagraywacke is the most common rock in the Piedmont Potomac. Or if from up near Point of Rocks it could the metabasalt (greenstone) part of the Catoctin Frmt.
