ID:	580492 Cedar valley Jasper… found in s.e. Minnesota
    here’s a pic. Of a point I found in s.e. Minnesota, many suggested it looked creek stained, although found on high ground, well above flood level.
    after a little research, I believe it to be made of cedar valley Jasper, this is the first artifact I have found, made of this particular material….✌️

    It definitely doesn’t look like your other ones..I have a similar one that was found in clear fresh water in a layer of red clay..I always figured that clay stained it over thousands of years, think it’s coastal plains...That’s a sweet point you got there, course in this case I’m partial

      I know nothing about that Jasper, but I do know a nice knife when I see one. It's a beauty. K
