what material is this point made out of?

i have been curious lately of why is when i look closely up at this point i see little crystals in it. this is a creek find and was just wondering if anyone here knew. i found it in illinois. thanks.

My best guess would be heat treated Burlington. The quartz crystals you are seeing is pretty common in lower grades of Burlington.
