  • Normanskill Chert

Nice sample of Normanskill Chert this material sources in South Eastern NY State Along the Hudson River Valley. It found its East into Connecticut through networks of trade. This piece has always intrigued me Looks to be a high quality piece. I Found this in Oxford CT. 1990. Looks like they were working it down and then had a mistep in the process and laid it aside.
