  • Let's see some Vossbergs...

    If anyone has any ,let's see them... here is one from the collection from PA.. it's a pretty decent example...

          Very nice point! (BTW, spelled Vosburg). Here are a couple made from argillite, and two from quartzite. All from the same site on Narragansett Bay, RI.....

            Vosburgs have different variations in shape..those are really nice...I'm jealous lol..

              Yeah, it seems they either have a very short hafting element, with deep but usually small corner notches, or longer hafting elements with faint notching. The two styles can seem very different!

                          some beauties in there for sure. There are a few in this frame. All from Western CT. Not the best picture because they are under plexiglass. This frame was put together in the 70's by my Dad nad I . A bunch of sweet ones i there. What ever happened to FlintMel he had some beautis from a site in Eastern CT that were awesome!
