Some good ones (for me at least) and questions

Finally found a new variety today in the Philly area... The one of the left is what? Adena? What is it made out of? It's somewhat translucent. The black one on the right is another black chert hellgrammite (the second I've found at this spot.) In the left middle is something that doesn't look impressive in the photo but better in reality... maybe a graver or something. it's actually not broken. Then there's the base of a broken jasper madison point in the right middle.

Are these creek finds? Looks like they are water worn.

The one on the left would be hard to type, other than just saying a stemmed knife form. The material is chalcedony, and can be found most anywhere. Chalcedony usually occurs as a secondary lithic attached to another type of chert or flint. In other words, for example, sometimes at the Macungie or Vera Cruz jasper quarries, you can find a huge 5 pound block of jasper, and there will be a baseball size chunk of chalcedony attached to it. Or it can occur as thick veins in jasper, Carbon Co. chert, and other lithics that occur in your area. If your hunting along the river beaches, you can find large and small rounded cobbles of chalcedony.

Actually what I ID'd as a hellgrammite seems more likely to be an orient fishtail point.

The hellgrammite I have and others I have seen look more Meadowood.. this does look like a fishtail type..

Here's the hellgrammite I've found.., very similar to this new point in question, but I guess it's different enough to call a fishtail.
