I haven't been point hunting in awhile. Too many brandings and all my free times been spent looking for elk sheds. I found one today, when my wife asked me to transplant a bush in our yard. This was in the dirt. Nice little leaf point. Middle of Montana.

Beautiful find, from your front yard and translucent to boot. You lucky dude. I had to smile when you said "leaf point" cause the leaf points I find are just that. Leaf's on the ground that closely resemble artifacts and believe me, I've found a lot of em.
