Scraper?

Took a break from building my daughters house at lunch and walked into a nearby tobacco patch. Found another scraper/blade. Do the rest of you all find as many scrapers/blades as I do? It is rare to find a point.

I would say it depends on location. I dont find many in Alabama, but do in North Florida. But I maybe wrong. That's just my experience.

This one looks like a duckbill scraper. I think scrapers are easier to find than points, a lot of small scrapers are made from damaged points.
It seems like you're looking in the right place, who knows what's still in that patch?

Nice work on that peice! Still could be an axehead though. Looks quite big to be a scrapper. And yes that is about all I find is scrappers or knifves but not that nice looking.

Could be a scraper, but possibly looks to be a preform or blank. JMO, Paul
