  • Eva

Here is a better picture of the Eva point I got the other day. It is a classic example of "Form I" and would be considered early archaic (Form II has longer barbs and more rounded stem). This point type is primarily exclusive to Tennessee and Kentucky. This example is made from buffalo river chert with a heavy patina over the cream and purple swirls. I have found one Eva point personally and just really like the base on these points.

It is a better picture and a very nice point. Good candidate for the point id section.

I have a hunting buddy near the Kentucky - Tennessee boarder and the Eva is one his favourite points. I always wonder how the hafted them.

That's a nice Eva. I picked up a small example a while back because l like those bases too. You can't help but wonder about the hating method used on those because the bases are so undersized. Thanks for sharing that one!
