Hey Bruce , I like your new pic ! You know I agree with Josh .I read your post and finds but your in parks and beaches right ?
I know if you hit a river there is no doubt in my mind you would not only find your beloved and valuable metals , but you would spot a stone artifact with those trained eyes you have . Don’t know your area . It would be like me in a timber field looking for a diamond ring with a metal detector .
I challange you to hit the woods... ha ha

I think that the rivers here are quite different from those that you are used to. These are coming directly out of the coastal mountains and the water is darned chilly to say the least.
