Got home and was unloading aluminium on the scrap pile and putting cardboard on the burn pile when i look down and find this laying in the dirt along the driveway where we burned leaves off this winter.

Always nice finding one so close to home. May be missing the tip but ill take it anyday.

Wow. That’s cool. Do you have reason to believe you live on a campsite?

That does seem to be a stretch, but there might have been ancient creeks nearer, that are long gone. It could be a random point. Keep your eyes open though

I work on construction sites, checking erosion and I am amazed where I find pieces of points or whole points. Some being not even close to water. I believe they are basically everywhere but obviously there are better places that have a higher concentration in a certain area. Nice find btw and definitely keep your eyes open for others.

I would go out and buy a new shovel and build a new sifter box.
