ID:	356900 Another from my collection this is a blade/scraper the material I’m not real sure of the type but another collector told me it is rare for our area but it does pop up once in a while. N GA

Blade is the proper term don’t think we have true crescent types here. Found it in the cow field owner use to rake the field with his tractor but it’s been a tough year for them due to illness so he hasn’t done it. I’ve found some nice ones there in the past. In the bottoms of that property there is a creek that holds some of the best points I have ever found but I can only walk it a couple of times a year due to the owner has to take me to it on a 4 wheeler. I’m getting the itch

The weird drill looking thing is why I joined this forum. I have never seen anything like it before. I showed it to several people , they scratched their head and said did you make it. It was a personal find for me , and it wasn't a salted, that was their other comments. I found it in a cliff overhang, way out of the way. Their was a half of a banner stone with it too. This forum and the people here very helpful. Ecentric archic doodle , good enough to put the mind at ease. The other peice has a good story. Been hunting this creek for awhile finding stuff above and below a water hole. I waited until it dried up, and so did all the leaves. Now I still couldnt see, leaves all were the water was. Back to the house for the leaf blower. I was about to give up after a tank of gas. Set the blower down beside what I thought was a bone stuck in the hard pan. It paid off , it wasn't bone. I just knew something had to be in that spot. A few of my favorite finds?

That first piece is crazy for sure. If you had not found it, I would say no way it was a real artifact. It's so interesting, it took a minute for me to even notice your other find...which is amazing.

Last time I tried to send you a pm it said you had used all that was allowed just letting you know. 5 points a year isn’t a lot but the ones I’ve seen you post have been nice

Sharing a couple of past finds. The right one I won an award with at a show for best Mississippian. It’s still my best triangle to date. The other is cool whatever it is. Hope you enjoy. N Georgia personal finds. Click image for larger version

Seems like almost every triangle you find has a tiny nick at one corner from hafting but other than that it’s perfect thanks Red
