Well even though it’s not quartz it’s a beautiful piece besides I’d be surprised to see a quartz Celt cause I’ve never seen one made from that material. Any place that supports quartz also has hard stone that they would of used for a Celt.
Thanks surface hunter
check out this one..same collection I thought it was white quartz? Now I'm wondering..it sort of has a smooth texture like the rose one
Hey Eman. This one is milky quartz., as New Englanders. 50 percent of our finds are quartz by default ...I agree with Charlie .. just saying...I think Hoss would agree too
There is a white stone that I can’t spell that they liked to flake into tools and points. The name starts with a Ch . I find it also has a slick to greasy feel to it but looks almost like quartz. Maybe someone else can spell it for you. I don’t find it often but it’s a nice material.
Chalcedony I believe is the lithic you're referring too..could be? I bought all 3 cells from this collection..the third one is due in the mail tomorrow the one is definitely chalcedony
