      It is some of our best Grade of coastal plain chert, really glassy and translucent.

ID:	373362 Sometimes jasper displays translucent chalcedony. Recently, some regional collectors have concluded most such veined jasper originated at the Limerock, RI jasper source, but I am not sure RI jasper can be distinguished from Pa jasper...

              Great points that jasper piece looks similar to what we find local .

            Not sure of the material in this case, but it's a Maritime Archaic style point(the Red Paint People), and was found at the "Old Landing", on the St. Croix River, in Calais, Ma.

              Some awesome points there folks! Different array Quartz & Jasper & rest of em are great šŸ‘. Be cool to make a Sun frame of sorts to hang in window. Only way I can think of to make it work-would be to take a panel/board . Route out for each individual arrowhead shape to hold the points. Then sandwich it in double sided glass if that makes sense. A Double-sided Arrowhead Frame basically! I may tackle that project someday!

                How about building a display case with LED bulbs being placed behind every artifact? Then you can display them anywhere you have electricity. Iā€™d probably rig up a AA battery pack also. That way you can show your relics anywhere at anytime.
