ID:	379354 This is an item that I found in 1964 when we tore down an old log smoke house. It was under the last log. It is close to being a true circle but slightly off. It is approximately 2 1/8 in diameter, and approximately 1 1/8 tall. The second photo shows a concave surface. It looks to have been made from marble or granite. Can you help me to identify this piece? Also can you tell me of it's function and possible what tribe. It was found in Independence County in Arkansas.

I have a similar piece made of sandstone, the cup side was full of red ochre when I found it. I always figured it was a paint cup.
