    Went out today and found this South East Georgia point. Looks like it was in the process of being re-sharpened and a hinge was formed and could have been discarded. Click image for larger version

    Seams like an awful lot of edge to be worked on the one side to be a discard. And to me anyways looks like he could have taken out that hinge/step. Nice find and cool material.
    Look to the ground for it holds the past!

      It is usable like it is so may be some other reason for it being lost.

    That's a nice one. How do you hunt in this heat? It's been horrible here the past couple of days. Heat index has been around 105.

      It was hot but I made it until lunch, was saturated though.

          Johnny it looks like what we call a Hamilton in FL...... sweeeet color! I don't think it is...Hamilton is older (looking....) what do you call this type?

            They are called Conerly points in our area and are localized point around Savannah River a little ways into South Carolina and a ways into Ga.
