Old man told me about a Creek he couldn't walk anymore

Had an older guy see me digging the other day and stop to give me directions to a Creek he could not walk anymore.so I checked it out and boy was he right I only walked about an hour and came up with these two,I might hug him if I ever see him again.

Not sure about the material but that dark red spot near the tip is the outer cortex maybe that will help someone else chime in about the material .and as far as the old fella goes he told me because of his siatic and other nerve damage

The creek rocks are hard on the legs and knees good exercise but hard on the body. My friend had to knee replacements.
