    This forum, of which I am a new member, has some really great reads. I especially liked the post about the lithophones from Colorado. I also enjoy the other manmade artifacts found with metal detectors. I have a few civil war pieces I have found, and I have a good friend who's New Hanover Co. collection is amazing!
    Here is what I found while visiting my parents near Greensboro, NC (Guilford Co.) I thought it would be cool to post. The rhyolite guilly was 10 yards from an old tobacco barn where I spotted the large cent. Good thing it was on the surface, right? Can you make out the bust? Date unknown

        If you turn your head sideways and blow the pic up there is numbers on it I see 188? Not sure what the last number is.
