Here's a strand of 382 Marpole Phase stone beads found in 1928-29
at the Bead Patch site just downstream from the Dalles on the Columbia River
in Wasco County Oregon. It measures about 27" long.

It's crazy to think that each bead is an artifact in itself.

This was a good day from a few years ago. Big basalt is maybe a Lerma, the basal notch is a mystery, and the triangle and leaf points I only found because I was on my hands and knees in a site that was thick with debitage. Those four were found in south-eastern CO close to the TX border. The basalt corner notch was found the same day in the San Luis Valley. All in all, a good day...

I've downloaded my first video game recently, and I've discovered that I can take photos in the game as I can in reality. So for your enjoyment (I guess) here are some pics.

Good day to share some you haven't seen. Raining again I'm so bored. N GA personal finds. I find it interesting on the far left Big Sandy how it displays fresh fractures but yet I found it in a creek. So just cause a point shows these it doesn't always mean it's a fresh made piece. Enjoy Click image for larger version
