I suggest that you need a bigger frame. If they touch each other long enough sooner or later gonna get modern damage. That is a nice collection . Thanks for sharing it with us.

Those paleo points to the right of the coin are dandies! The younger pieces aren't bad either.

Yes, a dandy frame for sure. And as clovisoid says, those points to the right of center are probably very old. I would like to see those lanceolate shaped points closer up. I see possibly Paleo and Trans. Paleo for sure. Your Early Archaic points are dandies as well. Those real old points are "eye candy" for me.

That's a great collection: You gotta love old KRF.

I assume much of the material is Flattop Chalcedony from Eastern Colorado. Flattop is part of the White River Group formation, and that formation produces some darker stuff that can look a lot like KRF. (But it's also realistic that KRF could end up in a site collection from Colorado/Nebraska where you'd expect to see more Flattop.) Paleo and Archaic folks in Colorado and Nebraska used a lot of Flattop.

OK Thanks Joshua. I am not familiar with Flattop. I sure would like to add that one to my knapped lithics list. The patina even looks like KRF patina.

3.5x5 transitional era biface /core Flattop chalcedony NE Colorado, the chalcedony has a much more waxy character than KRF

Located northwest of Sterling, Flattop Butte is a rock outcrop that was used extensively by prehistoric peoples as a source of stone for tools.

Lots of really cool old stuff in there. The dalton in the top row just right of center, it’s almost used completely up.
                    nice collection👍👍
