Thanks Jethro, that is an in situ of my Avatar, my first point. It was recently told to me that it is a Peno Washita. But dang, it is similar to Caracara.

A beautiful Washita point. I recently found a nice little Washita bird point (tip broken) in Park County, CO. I've found a few of them in different areas of Colorado over the years. I love them!

Pictures 1&2 are the same piece?

Picture 3 looks like gun spall, but there are a lot of adzes in Texas that can look like that. How big is it?

That Washita is great. If you find an Antelope Phase site (the group that made those points), you might find a lot more of them. I've seen some great collections from village sites up in the panhandle area.

Thanks Clovisoid. Yes, pus 1 & 2 are the same item. Pic 3 is small, 13/16” L x 3/4” W. Thanks for the heads up about Antelope Phase.

Clovis, what is “gun spall”? ...a break caused by bullet? wow, my imagination belies my ignorance...
