  • Some More Deep South Relics

Random wish for the day... 5 day point hunt, 2 day work week. Well here lately it's been a 6 day work week and 0 day point hunt. Anyways here's some pictures.

Very nice relics indeed, the beveling on photo 2 is insane!

Is that what they call the new math...Hey, I understand you can quit working, get unemployment and stimulus checks etc will be forthcoming, which frees you up to hunt24/7...Lol, Not....sorry I got carried away....Where was I, oh yeah, I’d recognize a Thonotosassa from Thonotosassa anytime..That’s a nice one....I got so desperate for one way back that I almost bought one, but I finally found one albeit scrufty, ..nice points good show.

Thanks Hal, it took me awhile to find my 1st Thonotosassa. I would find them deep. Can't make $$ hunting 24/7 especially if you don't sell them 🙂

Good stuff, Mike! I particularly like the big dark basal notched one (second from the last picture) - it looks sharp!

Thanks Mike, a rare one (for me at least). Unfortunately the base is snapped.

Citrus and Culbreath tend to be found more along coastal and bayside sites is why you probably didn’t come across many...Lord knows it ain’t cuzz you didn’t try,

That's the truth, only found 2 Citrus and 1 Culbreath. 1 of each at a construction site that was off Gandy Blvd.

I think Hal left these behind for someone like me to find; since he was finding Hernando, Suwannee and Newnan swords 🙂
