Here is my Ramey Knife. Personal find and 6 inches long. The type was named for the Ramey Site at Cahokia. Middle to late Mississippian. Made from Mill Creek chert which is typical for the type.
A few of my favorites
Flint Ridge Adena cache blade from Lorain Co. Ohio.
Sonora paleo knife from central Ky.
Carter Cave paleo knife found in southeast Ohio.
Top to bottom Genessee point 5" long
second is a Quartz side notch probably a large Brewerton 3 and 1/2" long
Third is a Boats blade 6 and 1/4" long
Broken Ulu The Ulu is a polished slate knife form that date to the late Archaic around 3,000 to 4,000 years old.
Another broken Ulu that is a real heart breaker.
The quartzite knife may look like a simple biface but it has use wear that indicate its use as a knife.
All absolutely goegeous knives guys! Thank you all for sharing your beauties!
And I love the pocket knives. I'm an addict, can't hardly go to a gun show without getting another one.
