Hi all - this is from my amazing arrowhead collector uncle-in-law, Forrest Fenn:
Well, I just celebrated my 80th birthday and my body says it’s time to start selling stuff. The first to go, with much reluctance, is my flint collection. Please go to my web site www.oldsantafetradingco.com and click on Arrowheads at the top bar. It’s an auction.
I found my first little arrowpoint when I was nine and 71 years later I have about 2,900 flint pieces. That includes everything from Clovis to bird points, with about 350 drills thrown in. We expect to list all of the pieces as soon as time allows. If you would like to have the entire collection please send me an email. (ffenn@earthlink.net) I will not hold out for top price. Instead I’ll sell for 30 cents on the dollar. I guarantee that all are ancient and you have a 14 day return policy.
Most of the pieces you will see in this auction are from Central Texas where I was born and raised. My father was a school principal and we hunted with my football coach in the 30s, 40s and 50s, when few people wanted these “Indian heads.” This collection is pretty much what the three of us found over the years.
Enjoy,
Forrest Fenn
