I found this point back in spring of 2020 along a gravel bar after the creek came up. I’m located in S.W. Missouri. I would love to hear everyone’s thoughts about it. I’ve thought maybe a Dalton Hemphill but I’m also leaning towards a smoker rice lobed. Killer point regardless, not to mention the awesome fossils that came with it! Let me know what you think this point type is, possible even a type I’ve overlooked. ( left hand bevel and base is ground).

Looks like a Hemphill to me.
I think the flaking would be better had the stone permitted, but then it wouldn’t be as cool as it is.
absolutely love it.👍👍👍Wandering wherever I can, mostly in Eastern Arkansas, always looking down.

Definitely a nice Rice . One of my favorites. The base throws a lot of people off as they vary from barely concave to deep like yours. The beveling and flaking are a dead giveaway. Those that look like yours get mistaken for Jakie points, but those aren't beveled. Probably Boone Chert.
