  • Dalton Drill - 4/14/2022

I was having a slow day at my first farm, but found this beauty with the tip buried in the sand at the second farm. I was so happy it was whole! I've included some pics and the reveal video. This is my best drill and one of my best artifacts ever. I'm still smiling over this one!

I have been meaning to ask you about that. If I was looking for a pink Florida elephant?

Golondrina and dalton resharpened points while hafted. A much exhausted example ends up like this and may be used as a drill. Generally dalton will be alternate beveled by this stage. They are in my opinion. , very fine artifacts to survive unbroken after that much use. I'll dig some out and post soon.

Thanks GarGuy, glad you added your comment. I thought you were yanking my chain about the Golondrina, lol. I look forward to seeing your pics.
